How do you secure the digital content from theft?

First of all, all files are encrypted. Secondlly, a small portion of each file resides only on our server. When an authorization-to-burn (ATB) is granted, this small portion is streamed via the internet to the local store system which completes the file. Without this, the file is useless.

How do you keep track of burns?

Once an authorization-to-burn is granted and the local store computer actually burns the content, it is automatically logged on our secure server. The retailer myMEDIA BurnBar Agreement grants us authorization to immediately charge the retailer for each burn. Our server allows Integra to view live data of each retailer's burns as they occur.

How are vendors paid?

All vendors are paid on the 10th of the month for the previous month. An Excel file contains reports detailing all content digitally sold by title and by retailer and top selling titles (all vendors combined).

What media formats can be burned?

CD, DVD and direct-to-USB flash drive. Generallly, USB flash drive is used only for music and audio books in MP3 format.

Is digital rights management (DRM) software employed?

No. With the exception of individual artist songs, all content is burned exactly as its physical counterpart.

How do you handle defective burns?

The actual defective rate is slightly over 1%. When a customer returns a defective disc to the retailer, a replacement disc is immediately burned. No refunds or exchanges are granted to the customer. Once a month, the retailer returns to Integra the actual defective CD/DVDs with a notation on the surface as to what is wrong. Full credit is issued to the retailer on the next billing cycle. Likewise, defectives are reported to the vendor on the next monthly report.

What formats do you deliver music in?

All burned music is in CDA music format at the equivalent of a MP3 192K bit rate. Songs that are authorized for purchase as MP3s are 192K bit rate.
