Do shoppers use the myMEDIA BurnBar™ computer?
No. The myMEDIA BurnBar computer just burns the actual product. Shoppers use the myMEDIA ConneXion™ touch screen which is a separate computer system to sample and decide what to burn.
What if I have a different touch screen sampling system? Can I convert it?
Yes, it can be converted to run our software. Typically this can be done for $125 to $250 per touch screen. The computer tower must be shipped to Integra. Call 800.882.4416 for specific details. Many stores have successfully done this.
Can the receipt printer be shared by more than one myMEDIA ConneXion touch screen?
One receipt printer can be shared between two touch screens IF the touch screens are located no more than 3'-4' apart. Any further distance and it would probably be confusing for the shopper as to where the receipt printer is located.
Must all computers be connected to the Internet?
Both the myMEDIA BurnBar computer and all myMEDIA ConneXion computer(s) must have a DSL connection or a broadband cable connection.
Is the content on the myMEDIA BurnBar computer secure? Can someone illegally access them and copy them?
Our patent-pending "Authorization-To-Burn" (ATB) process prohibits a burn from taking place without a password. In addition, a critical part of every file that will be burned is only streamed to your burning computer after the ATB has been granted. This only takes 1-2 seconds.
Can a song be burned without someone paying for it?
No. The shopper never touches the burning computer. They must bring the purchase receipt generated at the shopper touch screen to the cashier. Employees must enter their unique password which you create.
Can I set my own sales prices?
Yes! This can be done either globally for all accompaniment tracks and music CDs or per individual item. For all other categories of content there is no common standard so you must change each item individually.
Is my store name printed on the CD or DVD?
Your store name, address and telephone number are printed on the disc. It also states that all purchases are final. Defectives will be replaced for the same content.
How do I package the CD?
Accompaniment tracks, Bible software and video games are put in "slimline" cases without cover art. Music CDs, audio books, and videos are put in a jewel case with cover art.
Are the accompaniment track song lyrics printed?
Yes, except in cases where the original company did not have copyright permission to print the lyrics.
When do I pay for the burned CDs?
Your credit card will be charged on the 2nd of each month for the previous month’s purchases. Stores with monthly burn purchases exceeding $2,000 may be charged twice-a-month.
Do I get a report of what I have burned?
You may log onto the Integra server at any time from any Internet connected computer and create a custom report of what you have burned. Your complete life history of burns is available with each burn identified by the employee unique password.
